We are a voluntary organisation aiming to facilitate connections to help local vulnerable communities in the Blackburn with Darwen area uplift and empower themselves.

Our goal is to enhance the well-being and life quality of susceptible communities by adopting a holistic, person-centered approach that is grounded in our fundamental values of compassion, commitment, and care.

At The Connect Hub, we believe there should be no barriers to success. By providing diverse opportunities to enhance skills through tailored and inclusive programmes, we aim to empower individuals to flourish, regardless of their background.

How will we achieve our goals?

Providing advice and support:

Support and signposting services will be available to vulnerable groups comprised of but not exclusive to; individuals in financial hardship or living in poverty due to the rising cost of living, those seeking asylum and those granted refugee status.

Improving the quality of life and well-being:

Deliver recreational and leisure activities where vulnerable individuals and their families feel safe, valued, respected and welcomed.

Promoting social integration:

Facilitating inclusive events, and providing opportunities for community integration, in addition to a befriending scheme.

Raising awareness:

Promoting community cohesion, diversity and tolerance through raising awareness of issues faced by vulnerable communities.
